Mahogany is a subsidiary publication of Cunningham Publications, LLC and was developed in 2005 to address the deficient accurate representation of young women of color who are intellectual, fashion savvy, beautiful, culture oriented and who are real women. Due to the lack of national consumer publications for African American, Asian American and Hispanic American women, Mahogany was created out of necessity rather than luxury. Mahogany is the first multi-ethnic magazine to incorporate entertainment, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and cultural issues all into one publication specifically for every woman of color.
